Since then, Phillips has shared makeup tutorials and hacks on her Instagram and TikTok. Her most recent tutorial involved "cherry cola lips," which have gone viral on TikTok. Cherry cola lips involve lining your lips using a nude or burgundy lip liner before filling them in with a cherry-red lip color and finishing with a gloss.

Inspired by the colors in a glass of cherry-flavored Coke, this lip trend plays with textures and colors for a fun and flirty look perfect for late summer. Keep reading for Phillips' take on the trend.

Step 1: Line

Start by lining your lips with a nude pencil, or pick a burgundy-leaning tone to pack a bit more punch. Phillips chose a tawny-colored neutral and over-lined her cupid's bow.

Step 2: Fill

For a cherry tint, Phillips pressed this red lip balm into the center of her lips. She used her ring finger to blend it in.

Step 3: Glaze

Phillips topped everything off with a sparkly sheer brown lip gloss to create an effervescent effect.
