A brown eyeliner pencil is the most basic item of eye make-up, and I have so many on the go that I hadn’t bought a new one with my own money for years. But I stupidly went on holiday without one, which allowed me to conduct my own research afresh and to look at brands that haven’t necessarily been on my radar for a while.
