Beauty fan shares easy eyeliner trick that knocks years off your face if you’re over 40

A BEAUTY fan has revealed how to do your eyeliner so it knocks years off your face.

The woman, called Maria, who focuses on make-up advice for 40-plus women, demonstrated her amazing beauty tip in a popular TikTok video.

In a post, the make-up whizz insisted that eyeliner placement is "important as we age".

She revealed that when she was younger she would put a simple line across her eyes.

However, Maria then showed how, using the same product and a bit of mascara, she had created an incredible anti-ageing effect.

Pointing at her eye made up the original way, she explained: "On this eye I have gone all the way in, right into the corner, and the same thickness all the way."

Then, pointing at the other eye, Maria continued: "On this side, I have finished about a couple of millimetres before I get to the end of my eye, and have ever so slightly lifted up that line.

She added she had "smoked" her eye out on both sides, but with different effects.

Maria concluded that her first eye looked "shorter", while her second eye - using the new approach - looked "longer".

Her post was popular with fellow social media users, who left more than 1,200 'likes'.

One person wrote: "Wow, what a difference."

Another commented: "That’s incredible."

A third shared: "Instant follow! so few beauty tips for 40-plus, it's like we don't exist."

And a fourth added: "Ooooh amazing tip!"

Maria was also asked which eyeliner product she is using in the clip.

She replied that it is from Hildun, where it costs £16, and is in shade 'chocolate'.
